She has published scores of studies exploring the history of the Bulgarian language; has taken part in drafting the Map of the Bulgarian dialects of BAS and also leads the national project Dictionary of the Bulgarian Dialects. She has authored the unique Map of the Bulgarian language in new places worldwide which encompasses 15 million Bulgarian-speaking (as per ethnic origin) people. Prof. Kocheva has participated in a survey of the language of the Bulgarian community in Vienna and as a result has published a monograph, The mixed language of the Viennese Bulgarians. She has penned a series of monographs, a few studies and dozens of articles addressing linguistic issues. She has delivered lectures to Bulgarian students from Bessarabia, the Western Outlands and Macedonia organized on a regular basis by the Bulgarian Memory Foundation. She has taken part in collective academic works of great national importance \u2013 the Dictionary of the Bulgarian Dialects and the Atlas of Bulgarian Dialects, Generalizing Volume (in four volumes). Prof. Keremidchieva leads the Bulgarian commission in the international team working on the Slavic Linguistic Atlas, a comprehensive project on linguistic geography.  Her research areas include Bulgarian and Slavic linguistic geography, dialect phonology, lexicology and lexicography and more particularly, the Rhodope dialects. She has specialized in Karl Franz University in Graz, Austria. Dr. Koteva is the author of the book \"Names related to foods and their preparation in Bulgarian dialects (lexico-semantic characterization)\". Lyubomir Andreychin Institute for Bulgarian Language at BAS is one of the oldest institutes in the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The institute operates as a research centre for the study and description of the Bulgarian language \u2013 of its contemporary state, history, dialect diversity and its connection with other languages.
