Poparnik
Ingredients:
pumpkin, corn flour, sugar, milk, an egg, yeast, butter
Method:
Put the corn flour into a deep pan. Add the yeast, the salt, the egg, the sugar and some water. Clean the pumpkin, grind it and boil a little. Add the pumpkin mixture to the flour and the rest of the ingredients and make dough that should not be very hard. Leave to rise and then put in a baking dish. When ready break into pieces and pour with melted butter on top(in the winter add cracklings apart from the butter).
Kvasets
Ingredients:
flour, warm water, salt
Method:
Use the ingredients to make dough and leave it to rise. The kvasets is used for making bread as an alternative to yeast.
